The Return

Well. It's been quite some time since I last posted on this blog.  The years have passed so swiftly, and I find myself wondering about the tunnel of time that has infiltrated our world.    So, in light of that, its long overdue for a check-in and to re-establish this blog.  The years we have succumbed to have brought so many enormous changes.  A long distance move.  A pandemic.  Death in the family, including my beloved cousin Erin, and my best friend and furry son Beau.  Life has taken its toll on us all. The rebuilding process is in effect, now more than ever before, and it will take a very long time to accomplish. In the meantime, while we strengthen our resolve and put forth the work, energy and time...we think to the Big Picture.  What does life look like, a month, six months, a year from now? Balance is the byword for what I am striving for in this strange new life.  A return to security, yet with the addition of new family, new friends, and a new life.  This is the time and place for holding our family close while reaching into a new, unclaimed-yet future. The time to grieve is ongoing. the rebuild is ongoing. and the past is being rewritten.
